This position will work to ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Must maintain an organized and efficient dish area and take due care to ensure that equipment, china, and other stadium property is not damaged or broken. Will assist in other areas of kitchen operation as able or as business demands.


Wash pots, dishes, silverware and other utensils used in the kitchen in a commercial dishwasher or by hand.

Stack and store items to assigned place.

Maintain supplies for area and inform supervisor when supplies are low.

Mop and sweep all floor areas in the kitchen, dining room and other back-of-the-house areas.

Remove refuse receptacle to the dumpster.

Sort silverware and return clean china to serving stations.

Keep dish room and equipment clean.

Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and/or dining areas.

Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Appropriate use of resources to minimize waste and breakage

Support the culinary department by assisting with basic prep, transporting food/equipment to various locations, locating



Ability to participate in a team environment.

Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.

High school diploma or equivalent.

6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen.

Must be able to work in a high-stress environment.

Will consider experience in a high paced environment and combination of education.


Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length and have the ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees. Must be able to work in extremes of cold to heat. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, an employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and carry approximately 20 feet

Ability to physically walk approximately one-fourth () of a mile and the circumference of the unit several times a day

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

While performing duties of this job, the associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat

Employee must be able to perform repetitive motions

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold

Employee must be able to work in a cold environment such as when cleaning walk-in refrigerators

The noise level is usually moderate to high

The employee frequently has hands in soapy water and/or cleaning and sanitizing chemicals

Employee must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Employee must be able to operate in an environment with moderate noise

Employee must have the ability to walk with non-skid shoes at all times.

Other lifting or physical requirements as added from time to time, or as required to perform the essential functions of this job.
