Principal Function

This position functions as the link between and among the various food production areas in the kitchen to ensure the coordination and smooth flow of quality products being produced and assembled so servers may deliver meal orders to guests in a timely manner. As our singular goal is to be #1 in Event Hospitality, all employees are "Hospitality Ambassadors."

Essential Responsibilities:

Set up food production line to ensure it is properly stocked prior to the meal.

Check all assembly stations for presence of appropriate small equipment, assembly materials and stock levels.

Monitor all food production areas for safety and sanitation practices and procedures.

Check walk-in refrigerators and dry storage areas for cleanliness and orderliness.

Set up production cycles, ensure proper inventory levels and call to backup or replenish items as necessary.

Read order tickets as they arrive and call out orders to line stations in order sequence.

Track cooking times on all orders, check finished product and pass on items and order tickets to assemblers.

Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Receive all food, supplies and materials and place in proper storage.

Maintain all storage areas and inventory in a neat and orderly fashion.

Maintain the overall security of the storage area by ensuring all areas are properly locked and protected.

Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.



Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate same with others.

Food production experience.

Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.

High school diploma.

Dining room service experience.

Organizational and management skills.

Other Requirements:

Required to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds on a regular and routine basis. Must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

The employee is required to bend stoop, kneel, or crouch, climb, and must have the ability to reach overhead, above the shoulders

The employee must regularly grasp, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and carry approximately 20 feet

Ability to physically walk approximately one-fourth () of a mile and the circumference of the unit several times a day

Employee must be able to perform repetitive motions

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

While performing duties of this job, the associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat

Employee must be able to work in a cold environment such as when working in the walk-in refrigerators

Employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold

Employee must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Employee must be able to operate in an environment with moderate to high noise level.

Other lifting or physical requirements as added from time to time, or as required to perform the essential functions of this job.
